I’ll put you down

My brother was approaching me in a dining room kitchen area.  I had a screwdriver in one hand and a sharp kitchen knife in another.  I stabbed him once in his bare belly as his shirt was off and I could see some blood.  I told him to back off and stabbed him again.  I then said, “I’ll put you down if you don’t stop” and stabbed him a third time.
